COMPLETION OF LAMINATES SALE FOR £51 MILLION

Further to its press release of 15 December 2005 Cookson Group plc ("Cookson"), the leading materials science company, confirms that on 21 April 2006 it completed the sale of its Laminates business to Isola Group S.A.R.L. for a purchase price of $91 million (£51 million).
