Atotech USA and Insulectro form partnership
for U.S. Product Distribution

Rock Hill SC and Lake Forest CA — (April 17, 2003) — Atotech USA and Insulectro Corporation have announced that they have signed an Exclusive Distribution Agreement for the supply of Atotech USA’s Electronics product line to the US printed circuit industry.  Atotech has selected Insulectro as their National Distributor due to the fact that Insulectro is the world’s largest distributor of advanced printed circuit materials and have demonstrated that they can support the Atotech product line from a distribution management and technical support vantage point.

Insulectro has proven itself as a dominant supplier in the specialty chemical business and is looking forward to working with Atotech.

Atotech is a worldwide leader in the production of specialty chemicals for printed circuit, electronic and metal finishing processes.  Headquartered in Rock Hill, South Carolina, the company operates in a new $15 million facility that supports finance, administration, sales and marketing, Research and Development, production and a state of the art laboratory with pilot plant facilities.  Atotech USA is part of the worldwide Atotech Group consisting of two business activities, General Metal Finishing and Electronics.

This partnership will enhance both companies’ ability to support existing customers as well as provide service to a broader range of customers in the US market.  We expect that our customers will benefit from working with proven suppliers, and a single source for all their material requirements. Atotech will provide customers highly technical products and resources.  Insulectro will provide customers with an extensive product line, quick-to-respond supply management skills and numerous resource locations.
