Isola Laminate Systems manufactures the

Laminate is a flat, rigid material
constructed with epoxy glass in the middle and copper foil on
the outside. The epoxy glass serves as an insulating material
and provides the structural strength or mounting components.
Prepregs are chemically and electrically
engineered plastic resin systems which are reinforced with a
specialized fiberglass cloth or other reinforcement materials.
One or more plies of prepreg are laminated together to form an
insulating dielectric substrate to support the copper
circuitry patterns of a multilayer printed circuit board.
Copper-clad laminates consist of one or more plies of prepreg
laminated together with specialty thin copper foil on the top
and bottom.
