(slit) converted tapes for plating, fume protection, SMOBC and
hot air leveling.
The first step in the gold plating process
is to mask off all parts of the panel except the area to be
plated. A special adhesive tape conforms to the circuit trace
geometires and prevents solutions from damaging the traces.
